Open Question: I need help measuring Skateboards/Skateboard trucks. Please help!?

Ok I'm having lots of trouble measuring skateboard decks. And Skateboard trucks. First of all...Is a 7.6 deck width the same as a 7.60? I see like 7.7 then theres a 7.75. And it seems like a 7.75 is way bigger then a 7.7. Same thing with the 7.6 then the 7.60. And for the trucks. There are these trucks im getting and it says like. "5.0 Axle 7.75 Magnesium available in black/red." Like first of all. Is the truck 5.0 wide? Long? Or is it 7.75 long and wide or vise-verse or whatever. Please! Explain it to me.
